The gate was erected on a very popular path leading from North Rigton (North Yorkshire) to a wonderful beauty spot with splendid views of Almscliff Cragg. The grid reference is SE 2758 491 . The

Ramblers is the only national organisation that campaigns for and protects our rights of way network – and the rights of walkers – across the whole country. You can help protect this national asset by joining Ramblers.
Lower Wharfedale's summer coach ramble will take place on 29th June 2018. There will be five walks varying in length from 4 to 14 miles along the coastal path. All walks will terminate in Scarborough where we will have an evening meal. The coach will leave from Ilkley at around 9.00am and return at about 9.30pm.
