Washburn Heritage Centre at Fewston Church
Washburn Heritage Centre, attached to the seventeenth century Fewston church, has
changing displays about aspects of the Washburn Valley, which is very popular with
walkers. The church now has displays about the church, the valley and the reservoirs. A
path, put in by Yorkshire Water, leads from the north bank of Swinsty Reservoir up
to the centre and church, so they are just a short walk from Stack Point car park.
There
is a full range of activities, such as lectures, workshops and guided walks, at the
Centre and there is a tea room during regular opening hours on weekends and bank
holidays in summer and Sundays and bank holidays in winter. The Centre is also available

2012 Wadsworth Parish Boundary Walk
Taking place on the 10th June 2012.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge aims at raising money for local charities. Walks through the Hardcastle Crags and Luddenden Valley area. Full walk 21 miles but with shorter option.
